Enrollment Terms

Enrollment at Leaves of Learning is on a trial basis for both parties. Students are free to leave the program at any time, for any reason, without further financial obligation, other than tuition for the month in which they leave, the $75 deposit collected at registration, and any unpaid tuition or fees.  Should a student leave the program before May the $75 deposit along with any paid fees or tuition will not be refunded. A student may be asked to leave the program if it is felt his/her needs are not being met or if the student's behavior is unmanageable and detracts from the experience of others in the program. Facilitators of the program will work together to make these decisions. Families will be contacted about specific concerns prior to any action.

Tuition
Tuition is paid monthly (see registration for more details) and, as Leaves of Leaning has expenses of an on-going nature, reimbursements for missed days will not be possible. Missing a monthly tuition payment will make it necessary for us to fill the spot from our waiting list as we operate on a tight budget. If financial hardship is the reason for non-payment, the program director should be contacted to make special arrangements.

Family Jobs
The money we receive for tuition does not cover all our costs.  We absolutely depend on donations of either time or money (or both!) from our families. We require every family to take on a specific job, or to pay a $25 monthly fee. Families with students taking 3 hours or less per week pay $15 per month or have reduced job responsibilities.
