High School/College Information
We provide a college/high school informational meeting mid-year to address all of your questions. It has never been easier for a homeschooled/non-traditional student to be accepted to college.Leaves of Learning Graduate Facts:
- Ninety-two percent of Leaves of Learning seniors go on to college.
- Fifty-eight percent of seniors completing their bachelor's degree have gone on to graduate school. (Two of these students are pursuing their doctorate.)
A Few Exceptional Individual Accomplishments:
- Two LOL graduates became National Merit Scholars and received full college scholarships.
- An LOL student received one (of only two available worldwide) AFS Global Leader Scholarships and is now attending school in Japan for a year.
- An LOL student started his own business at age 16, and at age 21 sold it for ~$1,000,000.
- An LOL graduate received a full scholarship to pursue a Masters and Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on nano-technology applications for fuel cells.
- Two Leaves of Learning graduates received Presidential Scholarships.
LOL Graduates in General:
- Many graduates have reported that their high school experience at LOL made the transition to college very smooth as they felt well-prepared academically, and found that the independence and self-motivation that they developed served them well .
- Many LOL students have received college talent and academic scholarships as well as being accepted into Honor's programs.
- Many friendships that start at LOL last well after college.
- LOL students find they are well-prepared to meet the challenges of the world.
- Ninety percent of LOL graduates visit LOL after they graduate.
