18th Annual World Fair

Due to the imminent winter storm, we’ve made the decision to reschedule the World Fair for next SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 1, FROM 2–4 PM. 

The good news? It’s still not too late to join the World Fair!
If your child(ren) hadn’t planned on participating, consider using those snowy days to create a project or presentation to share. We would love to include you. To participate, simply email Diana with your name and topic, and we’ll be sure to add you to the program and have a space ready for you.

Our World Fair showcases the spirit of our community, providing students with the opportunity to share something they love with their friends and the entire LOL community. We ask students “What would you like to share? Do you love history? Is there a science experiment that you would like to share? Do you have a hobby, activity, skill, or sport that you enjoy? 

On the day of the World Fair the MPR and gym are transformed into a lively street fair of exciting exhibits. The bustle of excitement as each student shares an interest or passion with attendees is palpable! During this very social event, the supportive interaction between the different ages, along with the kindness and respect shown for one another is inspiring.
