Leaves of Learning would not survive without support from our families.
Tuition covers only about 80% of the actual cost to educate our students.
As with other private schools, there is a gap that needs to be filled via fundraising.
Unlike other private schools, we receive no government funding, making our fundraising efforts even more critical.
To fill the gap we hold two main fundraisers each year: a Fall Donation Drive, and LOLapalooza. Our community’s financial support is essential, and for 27 years our families have been there for us. We aim for 100% participation in our fundraising efforts, recognizing that each family’s ability to give varies. Every contribution, at any level, makes a difference.
2024/25 Donation Drive
Your donation to the Fall Donation Drive is an investment in our students and in the future of Leaves of Learning. Funds are used to keep our class sizes small (about 10 students per class); hire and retain excellent teachers; offer strong academic programs and a wide range of enrichment classes; and maintain classrooms that are functional, collaborative, and inviting.

Make a donation of up to $750 ($1,500 for joint filers) and receive the same amount as an Ohio tax credit. Simply donate to Leaves of Learning through Every Child, Every Family, a Scholarship Granting Organization. Click on “Contribute Today” in the top right corner of their website.2025 LOLapalooza
LOLapalooza was such a success last year that we have decided to make it an annual event. Not only was it lots of fun–bringing Leaves parents together for a night of entertainment, games, auctions, and scrumptious food and beverages–it was a great fundraiser too!
Helping Hands Scholarship Fund
Our scholarship fund helps students who otherwise would not be able to attend Leaves. We raise money for this fund via Spirit Wear sales, pizza lunches, Kroger Community Rewards, and Every Child Every Family, a Scholarship Granting Organization that provides Ohio tax credits to donors.
Matching Gifts
Many employers match gifts made by their employees. Check with your HR Department to find out if your gift can be matched! Guidelines and amounts vary with each company. They will need our Leaves of Learning Tax ID #: 31-1745505 and most likely provide you with a form.
